As the custodians of information and advocates for positive change, the media and civil society hold a unique responsibility to amplify the urgency of the climate crisis and drive transformative action.

Achieving climate justice for Nigeria requires unified voice amongst young Nigerian advocates to collectively influence climate policies and programmes, dismantling the prevailing biases of oppression which is depriving young people and women innovations from making maximum impact on behalf of their communities through the provision of a safe space and maximum publicity to share stories of their work.

3rd edition of #projectwastefreecommunities and community clean up exercise to commemorate #worldcleanupday2023 and #zerowasteweek will be taking place on the 16th of September at Galadimawa village Abuja.

EMPOWERMENT TRAINING ON CONVERSION OF AGRICULTURAL WASTES TO CHARCOAL BRIQUETTES AND PLANTING OF ECONOMIC TREES TO MITIGATE CLIMATE CHANGE .

Our team visited Gurku Community, Nasarawa State last week to train women and youth on the conversion of agricultural waste into briquettes (an alternative to charcoal and firewood), as well as a symbolic planting of trees to commemorate World Environment Day and to help combat desertification and drought.

Lift Humanity Foundation partnered and collaborated with Global Initiative for Food Security and Ecosystem Preservation African Environmental Awareness Initiative, Ecocykle Limited, Break-Free From Plastic Awareness Initiative to carryout this innovative projects in 2022 .
